Exploring the regulatory machinery of human gene expression
This project explores the "switches" (enhancers and promoters) that control how genes are involved in disease. Instead of just looking at statistical associations, we are looking at the physical machinery: specific binding sites and the transcription factors (proteins) that control them.
Search for families of proteins (like "SOX" or "IRF") and set significance thresholds to identify candidate regulatory mechanisms across the entire study.
